Internship Overview
I had the amazing honor of interning for NBC Nightly News in New York City during the summer of 2012.
I was thrilled to work for two of my broadcasting role models? weekday anchor Brian Williams and weekend anchor Lester Holt.
I worked fulltime, five days a week in the magical Rockefeller Center newsroom.
My main job was to help producers by logging interviews, reviewing footage, researching stories, contacting sources, and distributing the rundown.
I had the chance to learn from the best professionals in the business?including producers, correspondents, editors and graphic artists.
But the best experience was when I got to do my own reporting. I produced articles and videos that were published on NBCNews.com.
