Internship Overview
My first internship was at AM1220 WQUN radio in Hamden, CT.
In my freshman year of college I worked at the CBS affiliate, and learned all about the radio news business.
My favorite thing was reporting on local news stories by doing interviews, researching, writing scripts, voicing the story and editing it together.
I wrote broadcast copy about local community announcements and fundraisers. I sat in during live radio shows and edited sound bites too.
